'Ross Reinvented 2019'
'Ross Reinvented' happened over the weekend of 15th-17th of March 2019. See below for photos and reviews.
The first ever ‘Ross Reinvented’ was a massive success. Both main events were sold out. The festival launched with a tremendous toe tapping mega dance out, with ‘The Mighty Pledge’ (a group of musicians with a shared love of 60sSoul music), providing an irresistible call for the audience to get up and shake their collective funky stuff, which they did with enthusiasm. On Saturday we were all blown away by a spectacular performance by ‘The Orchestra Of The Swan’. There was also a performance of ‘Hush Now Hidden Women’ by Feral productions, in the town centre on Saturday afternoon. The fun continued on Sunday with a children’s show by ‘Noisy Oyster’, followed by the launch of ‘The Lost Fountain’ on The Prospect. You can now take your smart phone/tablet to The Prospect and see the fountain for yourself in glorious augmented reality. See The Lost Fountain page for a film about this
